H2APS

Updated: Jun 19, 2023

H2APS is a High-Altitude Pseudo-Satellite platform lighter than air projected to operate in the stratosphere during long periods of time and being more cost effective than satellites. H2APS powers the use of Hydrogen for lifting and as power system back-up. The H2APS project is led by CITD Engineering & Technologies participating in CDTI_innovacion Aeronautical Technological Plan (PTA) 2022 initiative with our project partners Edair Technologies, PROSIX ENGINEERING, and Protio Power. The purpose of this project is the development of a series of technologies in Aviation Sustainability, both in power systems and in ultra-efficient structures, to meet the goal of defining an Unmanned Aerial System lighter than air. Thanks to CDTI for the opportunity and to our Team members for their great cooperation: Tamara Guerrero Cervera, Eduardo Cano, Lara Solis Pinedo, Marta García-Cosío, Juan Miguel Gonzalez, Alejandro de la Ossa, José María Pérez, PhD, Roberto Trigo
