We are glad to announce that we have finished the development and qualification of the ULTEMTM Baffle! Through this joint effort, CiTD Engineering and Technologies, Fundación Andaluza para el Desarrollo Aerospacial and Solarmems have developed and tested a new concept for baffle based in high capability polymers for SOLARMEM’S STNS Star Tracker. The new product has advantages in terms of schedule, performance and cost.
The Project is embedded in the frame of the GSTP AM4ALL and has covered all the phases of the development; from feasibility analysis and requirement gathering to manufacturing, manufacturing process qualification, post-processing, and flight qualification via tests according to ESA and/or customer standards.
